Ellinette J. McKeown, 70, RN

She was born November 16, 1932 in Erie, PA. She had been a Lorain resident for 22 years moving from Vermilion. Mrs. McKeown had also lived in North Lima, Ohio.

She had been a Registered Nurse since 1952 and had worked for Ohio Extended Care Nursing Home retiring in 2002. She had attended St. Mary Church, Vermilion. Mrs. McKeown enjoyed tole painting and traveling to Amish country.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Joseph McKeown of Lorain, 3 sons, Mark McKeown of San Antonio, TX, Joseph McKeown III of Dallas, TX and Stephen McKeown of Andrews Air Force Base, 5 daughters, Jeanne Kohl of Pittsburgh, PA, Carole Lutza of Canfield, OH, Patti McKeown of Austin, TX, Brenda Naranjo of Pittsburgh, PA, and Sharon Jones of Galion, OH, 16 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, one brother, Elmer Baldwin of Kissimmee, FL, 2 sisters, Grace DePaul of Salem, OH and Glenna Mullarkey of Warren, OH.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Elmer Baldwin and Grace (nee Hawes) Baldwin.

Friends may call Tuesday, January 21, 2003, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, where a Christian Wake service will be held at 8:30 p.m.

Prayers will be said in the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian burial at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion at 10 a.m. Father Steven Blum, pastor will be officiating.

Interment will follow in Brownhelm Cemetery, Vermilion.
