Anna J. Fenik, 88, Enjoyed cooking, traveling, and watching her grandchildren

Mrs. Fenik was a charter member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Elyria Township and a charter member of the church Altar & Rosary Society.
She enjoyed cooking, baking, babysitting her grandchildren, traveling, and camping. For many years she and her husband Joseph spent their winters in Texas.
She is survived by her daughter MaryAnn Rieth of Sheffield Village; sons: Joseph R. Fenik and Richard R. Fenik, both of Elyria Township; 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and sister Kathryn Christiansen of Orlando, Florida. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph J. Fenik on November 9, 1980, parents Frank & Katherine (nee Turmon) Tomsic, and brothers John Tomsic and Nick Tomsic.
The family will receive friends Friday January 3, 2003 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Ave., Lorain where the St. Vincent Altar & Rosary Society will pray the rosary Friday at 3:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 4, 2003 at 9:30 am in the funeral chapel followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 41295 N. Ridge Rd., Elyria Township. The Rev. James Ols, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Lorain.
