Rose Marie Super, 72, Enjoyed flowers, reading, traveling and active with her family

Rose Marie Super (nee Kozlowski), 72 years of age, and a resident of Vermilion passed away suddenly due to an automobile accident.

She was born July 17, 1930 in Lorain where she was raised until 1952 when she got married and moved to Elyria. She has lived in Vermilion since 1954.

Along with her late husband she owned and operated Park Lanes Bowling Alley in Amherst for 40 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Vermilion where she was involved with Table Talk - Renew 2000 and numerous activities at the church. She enjoyed flowers, reading, traveling and active with her family.

Survivors include her son, Gerald J. Super of Oklahoma City, OK and Joseph Super of Chardon; her daughter Deborah Schmidt of Amherst, Ruth Sadowsky of Elyria and Sally Marie Super at home in Vermilion; 5 grandchildren; her sisters, Patricia Kozlowski and Delores Chapezynski both of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Gerald James Super, December 21, 1998 and her parents Stanley and Josephine (nee Lesicki) Kozlowski.

Friends may call Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Hemple Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst where at 3:45 p.m. a Rosary will be held by St. Mary's Catholic church Alter Rosary Society. Final prayers will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. At the funeral home with Funeral services following at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Vermilion at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Father Steve Blum, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church, Special Needs for Children, 731 Exchange St. Vermilion, 44089.
