Mary A. Inostroza, 45, Enjoyed Horseback Riding

Mary A. Inostroza (nee Rodriguez), age 45, of Lorain, died on Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at Community Health Partners HSC - West, Lorain following complications from surgery she had the day before.

She was born on January 21, 1957 in Lorain. She lived most of her life here, but also resided in Puerto Rico and Tampa, Florida.

While living in Puerto Rico, she worked as a security guard for St. James Security Services at Ryder Memorial Hospital in Humacao.

Very dedicated to her faith, she was a member of House of Praise Church, Lorain and a former member of Church on the North Coast, Lorain.

She enjoyed horseback riding. HIV positive since 1994 she was very active for many years volunteering her time speaking at AIDS rallies and seminars.

She is survived by her parents, Atanasio Rodriguez and Ines Gomez Sanchez, of Humacao, Puerto Rico, her son, Mario Rodriguez, Lorain, one daughter, Roberta Garcia, Amherst; 1 brother Albert Rodriguez, of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; and 3 sisters, Zenaida Rodriguez, Madelyn Rodriguez Grimmer, and Lizee Rodriquez, all of Lorain.

The family invites friends to join them at a memorial service on Friday, December 27, 2002 at the House of Praise International Church, 4321 Elyria Avenue, Lorain at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Gilbert Silva, pastor will officiate. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain is handling the arrangements.
