Irene M. Fenick Mutich, 77, Collected Ornamental butterflies, Oriental decorations, and enjoyed gardening and bowling.

Irene M. Fenick Mutich (nee Zimanyi), 77 of Sheffield Lake, died Monday, December 23, 2002 in Avon Oaks Nursing Home, Avon, following a lengthy illness.

She was born April 16, 1925 in Cleveland. She relocated to Bay Village in 1978 and then made Sheffield Lake her home in 1990.

She was a 1943 graduate of John Marshall High School. She attended Cuyahoga Community College. Mrs. Mutich retired as a bookkeeper from Luria Brothers in Brookpark in 1978. She worked there for 15 Years.

She was a member of Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church, Lorain. She was a volunteer at Saint John and Westshore Hospital in Westlake. She loved to bowl. She bowled for Club 55 at the North Coast Shoreway Lanes in Sheffield Lake. She enjoyed collecting ornamental butterflies and Oriental decorating and gardening.

Among the survivors is her husband of 26 years Louis Mutich; son Bernard Fenick of Euclid, OH, stepson Michael Mutich of Lorain and a stepdaughter Christina Livingston of Elyria; five Grandchildren and one Great Grandchild and a Brother Paul Zieman of Strongsville, OH.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Fenick in 1974, her parents Paul and Mary (nee Elbner) Zimanyi and a brother John Zieman.

Friends may call Friday 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 to 9:00 PM in the Richard J. Reidy Funeral Home, 1783 East 31st Street, Lorain, Ohio. Where Parastas service will be 7:30 PM Friday evening.

Funeral service will be Saturday 9:30 AM in the funeral home followed by 10:00 AM service in Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church, East 33rd Street and Grove Avenue (Route 57) Lorain. The Reverend Milorad Orlic, Pastor officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Garden, Avon.
