Ann Irene Wilson, 93, Enjoyed genealogy and spending time with her family

Ann Irene Wilson, age 93 of Wakeman, formerly of Lagrange, passed away Sunday December 22, 2002 at Life Care of Elyria after a weeklong illness. She was born Thursday, Jan 7, 1909 in Lagrange, returning to the Lorain County area from a brief stay in Florida in 1999.

She was a life long member of The First Baptist Church Lagrange. Mrs. Wilson was also a member of the Mayflower Society and The Daughters of the American Revolution. While she was in Florida, Mrs. Wilson volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She enjoyed genealogy and spending time with her family.

She is survived by three daughters: Carol Kretschmar of Wakeman, Ohio, Betty Taylor of Holiday, FL, and Paula Carder of Chander, AZ; one son, Philip Wilson of Lagrange, Ohio; 18 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild; one brother Thad Foster of Sarasota, Florida and one sister Betty Jump of Ocala, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence in 1980, son Larry, sister Reah, brother Hugh, grandsons Dale Taylor, Lenny Wilson and Philip Wilson.

Friends may call in the First Baptist Church of Lagrange located on the corner of Liberty and Church St. at 10:00 am Thursday December 26, 2002, until the time of service at 11:00 am. Rev. Jeffery Willetts, a grandson of Mrs. Wilson, and Rev. Walter Spieth will officiate. Burial will be in Lagrange Cemetery.

Family suggests that memorials be made to the First Baptist Church of Lagrange, located on the corner of Liberty and Church St. Lagrange, Ohio 44050.
