Maggie Warren, 100, Enjoyed Reading and Crocheting

Maggie Warren (nee Terry), 100, of Vermilion, died Friday, December 13, 2002, in Mill Manor Nursing Home, Vermilion, after a 4 year illness.

She was born August 6, 1902 in Ozark, Arkansas. She has been an Ohio resident for 26 years. She had resided in New London and Wakeman and had also lived in Missouri.

She enjoyed reading and crocheting.

She is survived by her 4 daughters, Edith Ross of Amherst; Margaret Anderson of Vermilion, Jean Reed of Haslett, MI; and Dorothy Shepard of Haslett, MI; 4 sons, Joe Warren of Leroy, MI, Roy Warren of Wakeman; Troy Warren of Wakeman and Dale Warren of Vermilion; 21 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; and 22 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Shemane, 2 daughters, Willa Bivins and Alene Warren; several brothers and sister and her parents, Jackson and Margaret (nee Carpenter) Terry.

Friends may call Monday, December 16, 2002 from 6-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion.

Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. The Reverend Jim Cooper, pastor of the Harbourtown Community Church, Vermilion will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
