Louise C. Pedraza, 73, She enjoyed gardening and watching her grandchildren
Louise C. Pedraza, (nee Martinez) age 73, of Sheffield Township, died on Friday, December 6, 2002 at her residence, following a lengthy illness. She was born on July 31, 1929 in Lorain, where she had lived her entire life.She worked as a machine operator for Elyria Plastics for one year. She enjoyed gardening and watching her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 4 sons: William, of Elyria, Richard of Lorain, Ronald of Grafton, Alfred of Lorain, 3 daughters: Jeanne Partridge, of Lorain, Darlene Persinger, of Nova, OH, and Cecilia Martinez, of Brunswick, OH, 17 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 6 brothers: Alex Martinez, of North Olmsted, Rudy Martinez, of Strongsville, Mario Martinez, of North Ridgeville, Fernando Martinez, of North Ridgeville, Luis Martinez, of Marietta, GA, and Louie Martinez, of Everett, WA, 3 sisters: Angelina Yellowlees, of Caldoan, Canada, Marie McCarty, Williamsport, PA, and Alicia Ford, of Wellington, OH.
She was preceded in death by her son: Luis Pedraza and sister: Yvonne Toth.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 8, 2002 form 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain where services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. Rev. James Browning, pastor of Believers Spoken Word Tabernacle, Sheffield Village, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
