Lynn R. James, 46, Enjoyed crafts and making seasonal decorations.
Lynn R. James, (nee Olah), age 46, of Nova, Ohio and formerly of Lorain, died Saturday November 30, 2002 at her Ashland County residence following an extended illness. Lynn was born October 6, 1956 in Lorain and had been a resident of Nova for the past three years.She attended St. Vincent DePaul parish school in Elyria Township and went on to graduate from Amherst Marion L. Steele High School with the class of 1975.
A parishioner of St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church in Elyria Township, she had previously been employed for ten years by the Amherst Animal Hospital. She later served as an independent sales representative for Avon Products.
She enjoyed all forms of crafts and was especially accomplished in making seasonal decorations.
She is survived by her husband of 9 years; Donald L., by her parents; John and Patricia (nee Milde) Olah of Lorain, step-daughters; Susan James and Vickie James both of Lorain, Dawn Parker of Amherst, 6 grandchildren, sisters; Patti Sunagel of Amherst, Johna Ray of Elyria, Charla Hamilton and Carrie Masters both of Lorain, along with 9 nieces and nephews, and one great niece.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel; 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Funeral services will be Wednesday beginning at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral chapel and will be followed by her funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Vincent DePaul Catholic Church; 41295 North Ridge Road in Elyria Township. The Rev. James Ols, pastor of the church will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill memorial park, Amherst Township.
