Vivian M. Skrjanc, 60, President of Micro X Inc.

Vivian M. Skrjanc, (nee Gerhart), 60, of Lorain, died Friday, November 29, 2002 at her residence while under the care of Hospice of the Western Reserve following a lengthy illness.

Born June 10, 1942 in Lorain, she lived in Elyria before returning to Lorain in 1967.

She was a 1960 graduate of Elyria Catholic High School, and attended Oberlin Business College for 2 years.

She worked as a secretary for Lorain Works US Steel in the 1960's. She currently was serving as president of Micro X Inc., Lorain, which was founded by her late husband, Gerald.

She was a member of the Church of St. Peter, Lorain. She enjoyed doll and stamp collecting, gardening and crafts.

Surviving is her son, Robert A., of Lorain, her mother Mary Gerhart, of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Gerald, in 1996, and her father, Eugene Gerhart, in 1963.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, 2002 from 4-7 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain, where funeral services will be Monday December 2, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. followed by mass at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Rev. Fr. Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
