Lee Tatarka, 80, Enjoyed bowling, knitting and horseback riding
Lee Tatarka (nee Brandt), 80, of Avon Lake passed away Wednesday, November 27 at her home following a short illness. She was born July 12, 1922 in Marburg, Germany and moved to Avon Lake from Cleveland forty-three years ago. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School in Cleveland and was a homemaker. Lee was a former Chaplain of the American Legion, Post 211 Avon Lake. She enjoyed bowling, knitting and horseback riding.Mrs. Tatarka is survived by her husband of 56 years, Joseph; five nephews and a niece and dear friends, Sylvia and Sandy. She was preceded in death by two daughters, Linda and Karen Tatarka; two brothers and three sister and her parents, August and Anna (nee Wolf) Brandt.
Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. Services will be held at the funeral home Saturday November 30 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
