Anna Pozega, 71, Lifelong Lorain Resident

Anna Pozega was born, March 19, 1917 in Lorain, where she has been a lifelong resident.

She is survived by her sons: William and Richard, both of Lorain, and stepson: Joseph Kropel, of Chicago, IL, and 2 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 38 years: Joseph W. Pozega in 1985, parents: John and Anna (nee Manasterska) Towstiak, two brothers: John and Michael Towstiak, two sisters: Marie Striker, in May, 2002 and Theresa Alten Genoso in 2000.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 27, 2002 from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at 12:00 noon in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Very Rev. Archpriest Basil Stoyka, pastor of St. Peter & Paul Orthodox Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
