John A. Piekarski, 56, Manager

John A. Piekarski, age 56, of Lorain died Wednesday, November 20, 2002 at his home following a sudden illness.

He was born November 23, 1945 in Lorain and has been a Lorain resident for his entire life.

He worked in the auto parts industry for over 30 years, most recently as a Manager for Asher Brothers Auto Parts in Huron.

Mr. Piekarski was a member of St. Stanislaus Church, Lorain, where he was a councilman. He graduated from Lorain High School and enjoyed fishing.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Adam and Mary (Sikora) Piekarski.

There will be no visitation.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 2702 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44055. Rev. Kevin C. Shemuga, pastor will officiate. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Stanislaus Church Restoration Fund, 2702 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, Ohio 44055.
