Edith N. Varndell, 58, Customer Service Representative

Edith N. Varndell (nee Lehota), 58, of Mesa, AZ, formerly of Cleveland, passed away, Sunday, November 17, 2002 in Mesa following a lengthy illness.

Ms. Varndell was born July 11, 1944 in Cleveland and has lived in Arizona for the past 6 years. She had worked in Customer Service for a pharmaceutical company while in Arizona. She was a graduate of Avon Lake High School and attended Cuyahoga Community College.

She enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Ms. Varndell is survived by three daughters, Denise Wilson of Cleveland, Loretta Eagle of Cleveland, and Rebecca Workman of Phoenix; 2 sons, Stephen Workman of Florida and James Workman of Cleveland. Besides her children, she is survived by 9 grandchildren, two brothers, Laurence Lehota of Lorain and Tim Lehota of Cleveland and a sister Stephanie Thiel of San Jose, CA.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Stephen L. Lehota and Florence K. Burmeister (nee Kalavsky)

A memorial service will be Sunday, November 24th in the Avon Lake Presbyterian Church at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Thomas Robinson of the Church will officiate. Burial will be private in Riverside Cemetery, Cleveland.
