Anna Mikula-Grose, 95, Seamstress
Anna Mikula-Grose (nee Vargo), 95, of Orlando, Florida and formerly of Lorain died Sunday, November 17, 2002 in Orlando.She was born May 5, 1907 in Yugoslavia and had lived in Lorain for many years before moving to Florida in 1971.
She worked as a seamstress at the Lorain Garment Company. While in Lorain, she attended the Catholic Church of St. Peter.
She is survived by her sons: Louis J. Mikula (Jan) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Dr. James F. Mikula (Karen) of Rocky River, daughter, Helen Bartz (Lawrence) of Laguna Hills, California, stepson, George Grose of Lorain, stepdaughter, Alicia Ocajik of Largo, Florida, five grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis Mikula, second husband, George Grose, parents, Michael and Anna (nee Plantek) Vargo, sister, Rose Orosz and brothers John Vargo, Michael Vargo and Steve Vargo.
The family will receive friends Saturday, November 30, 2002 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Home, 3224 Broadway, Lorain where a memorial service will be held Saturday at 12:00 Noon with the Rev. Mr. Ralph Krupp, deacon of the Catholic Church of St. Peter, officiating. Private burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
