Geneva Faye Wiley, 65, Enjoyed gardening and canning

Geneva Faye Wiley, (nee Buchanan), 65, of Vermilion died suddenly, Wednesday November 13, 2002 at her home in Vermilion.

She was born August 1, 1937 in Parkins, Arkansas. She had been a Vermilion resident for the past 37 years moving from Arkansas.

She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church in Vermilion. She enjoyed gardening and canning.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Gabrielle Schuttenberg of North Randall, OH; Terri Buchanan of Berlin Heights, and Rita Olt of Clearwater, FL; 3 sons, Willie Wiley of Huron, Dale Wiley of Salem, and Dallas Buchanan of Lorain; 3 step sons, Johnny Wiley of Sidney, James Wiley of Sidney and Michael Wiley of WV. Other survivors include 1 step daughter, Joanne Wiley of Sidney, OH; 8 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren; a sister, Cindy Buchanan of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; 5 brothers, Billy Buchana of Parkin, Arkansas, Tolbert Buchanan of Memphis, TN, Tommy Buchanan of South Owen, Missouri, Bobby Buchanan of Vermilion and Larry Buchana of Vermilion, OH.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ira Wiley in 2001; 2 sisters Ann and Sylvia; 2 brothers, Joel and Rawnee Buchanan and her parents, William and Beatrice (nee Laney) Buchanan.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-5 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home, Monday November 18, 2002 at 11 a.m. The Reverend Guy Morton, pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
