Robert Burns Miller, 75, Enjoyed the outdoors, the earth and gardening
Robert Burns Miller, 75, of Lorain passed away Monday November 11, 2002 at Amherst Hospital, Amherst following a two-year illness. He was born January 28, 1927 in East Cleveland and moved to Lorain fourteen years ago coming from Sheffield Lake. Robert served in the US Army from 1946 to 1947 and was a graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a degree in business administration. He was employed as a technical writer and later as a lubrication engineer for Stock Equipment Corp. Chagrin Falls. He enjoys the outdoors, the earth and gardening.He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Elizabeth (nee Kennedy); a daughter, Kathleen Miller of Rossford, Ohio; two sons, Ward of Sheffield Lake and David of Moreland Hills; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Solomon and Hazel Harriet (nee Pettay) Miller; and three brothers, Ward, Vernon and Merlin Miller.
Memorial Services will be held at the Avon United Methodist Church, 37711 Detroit Rd., Avon on Saturday, November 16 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. John Butchko, pastor of Avon United Methodist Church will officiate. Cremation by Busch Crematory.
