Richard G. "Dick" Stem, 75, U.S. Steel Supervisor
Former Lorainite, Richard G. "Dick" Stem born May 12, 1927 in Lorain died Saturday, October 26, 2002 in Tulsa, OK. He served aboard the U.S.S. Vinton in the south Pacific During WWII as a Naval Machinist Mate 3rd Class Engineer.He worked for US Steel in Lorain before being transferred to Tulsa OK in 1960. He retired from US Steel after 37 years as a supervisor.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jeannie, (nee Tilosanec), daughter, Nikki Hardy of Sand Springs, OK, Lori of Tulsa, OK, son Rick of Lake Worth, FL, 4 grandchildren, sister, Lois Bunker of Orchard Park, NY, step-sister Helen Tester of Wakeman.
Ninde Woodland Memorial Chapel of Tulsa handled the arrangements.
