Edda M. Garfield, 61, Enjoyed classical music and reading
Edda M. (nee Iacobozzi) Garfield, 61 died on Saturday, October 12, 2002 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph in Lorain, OH following a brief illness.Mrs. Garfield was born on November 15, 1940 in OH and was a lifetime resident. She was a member of the Church of St. Peter. She graduated from Lorain High School in 1959 and graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor's of Art's Degree. She was a retired 9th grade English teacher with Marion Steel High School in Amherst with 35 years of teaching. She retired in 1997.
She enjoyed classical music and reading.
Her husband Harold "Bud" Garfield, to who she was married on June 19, 1965, her son, Edward Garfield of Elyria, her sister Vivian Jacobozzi of Scottsdale, AZ and one nephew survive Mrs. Garfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents Andrea and Adelia (nee Tornincasa) Jocobozzi, and brother Elio Jacobozzi.
A memorial service will be held at a later time to be announced by the Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home For Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, Ohio 44052.
