Stanley Richard Podulka, 91, Dairy Farmer

Stanley Richard Podulka, age 91, of Grafton passed away Wednesday evening at home after a short illness.

He was born Thursday, Dec 15, 1910 in Cleveland and living in the Lorain & Medina County's all his life. He is a member of the Assumption Catholic Church for many years. Mr Podulka was a dairy farmer all his life, and served on the board of zoning appeals for Grafton Twp.

He is survived by his wife Marie (nee Bernaicki) married 54 yrs, 2 sons: Michael Podulka of Grafton, John Podulka of Pheonix, AZ, 2 Step Sons: Eugene Pleban of Grafton, Walter Pleban of Wakeman, 2 Step Daughters: Jean Matusik of Grafton, Helen Kolson of Pheonix, AZ, 15 grandchildren, and 15 Great grandchildren, and sister: Clara Gurba of Brooklyn, Ohio.

He is proceeded in death by his parents Frank & Mary Podulka, 2 sisters Genevieve Christian, Stephie Wodeik, and 1 Brother Charles Podulka.

Friends may call in the Blackburn Funeral Home 1021 Main St. Grafton Sunday, October 13th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm with funeral mass in the Assumption Catholic Church 1033 Elm Street, Grafton on Monday at 10:00 am with Fr. Ralph Bodziony pastor officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery Grafton. Family suggest memorials be made to the Grafton Twp. Fire Department, or to the HO-MITA-KODA (Diabetes Camp). A prayer service will be offered Sunday evening at 7:30pm.
