Elizabeth C. Hribar, 86, Enjoyed Sewing, Playing Card and Traveling

Elizabeth C. Hribar, (nee Simon), 86, of Lorain, died Wednesday, October 2nd at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain, following a short illness.

Born July 28, 1916 in Lorain, she has lived here her entire life.

She worked for General Industries, Elyria from 1938 to 1958.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and former member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church. She was also a member of St. Ann's Auxiliary #287 of the Knight of St. John. She enjoyed sewing, playing cards and traveling.

Surviving is her son, Arthur of Lorain, 2 grandchildren and 4 great granddaughters.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank J. Hribar in 1978, parents, Balent Simon in 1992 and Elizabeth (nee Molnar) Simon in 1960, brothers, Balent, Joseph in 1928 and Steve Nemes in 2001, a sister, Julia Molnar in 1993.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 6th from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain where funeral services will be Monday, October 7th at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Fr. David Novak, pastor of Holy Trinity Catholic Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
