Larry B. Yost, 66, Inspector

He was born on July 13, 1936 in Allen, West Virginia and has lived in Vermilion for the past 6 years. He also lived in Berlin Heights for 10 years.
He attended Guyan Highs School in Sherdin, WV. He worked for the Ford Motor Company in Lorain as an inspector, retiring in 1990 after 31 years of service. He was a member of N. Lake Street Baptist Church in S. Amherst. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golfing.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Beatrice Yost (nee Hamilton); daughters, Jennifer S. Yost of Vermilion, Alice F. Yost of Vermilion, Rhonda J. Turner of Burmuda, California and Chris Dobbins of Oberlin; sons, Larry B. Yost Jr., of Wakeman, Fred Yost of Branchland, WV, Kelly Yost of South Amherst and Scott Yost of Wakeman, step-daughter, Brenda K. Brannon of Sheffield Lake; step-son, James F. Lusk of Amherst; 18 grandchildren, brother, Miles K. Yost of Huntington, WV.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William F. and Alice M. (nee Hosser) Yost; 4 brothers and 6 half-brothers.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2002 and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2002 at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
