Ralph E. Frank, 62, Typesetter

Ralph E. Frank, 62, of Lorain died on Thursday, September 19, 2002 at the home of his daughter in West End, NC following a 9 month illness.

Mr. Frank was born on September 1, 1940 in Lorain and was a lifelong resident. He was a member of the 1958 graduating class of Lorain High School. He was a retired typesetter at the Cleveland Plain Dealer, retiring in 1999.

He was a boating enthusiast.

Mr. Frank is survived by his two daughters, Susan M. Frank of Lorain and Beverly Scott of West End, NC, his son, Ralph E. Frank Jr. of Sheffield Lake, 3 grandchildren, his sisters, Jean Chrulski of Vermilion, Mary Lou Kiser of Lorain, Earlene Moritz of Benton, Arkansas and several nieces and nephews.

Ralph is preceded in death by his parents, Earl R. and Thelma L. (nee Bradley) Frank and a sister, Beverly Frank.

Friends may call at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals, 1124 W. 5th Street, Lorain, on Tuesday, September 24, 2002 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at Schwartz, Spence, Boyer & Cool Home for Funerals in Lorain with Rev. Stephen Sedgwick, pastor of the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Lorain officiating.

Ralph E. Frank will be buried at Elmwood Cemetery in Lorain.
