Edward A. Roy, 89, Avid Fisherman

Mr. Roy was born on November 19, 1912 in Rome, NY and has lived in the Lorain area for 56 years. He was a 1939 graduate of Missouri School of Mines in Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, now known as Cornerstone Methodist Church. He was an avid fisherman and loved hunting.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mary Louise (nee Storme) Roy, and his daughter, Mariel Etzkorn of Lorain. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren, two great grandchildren and one niece.

Mr. Roy is preceded in death by his first wife, Frances S. Roy in 1974, a daughter Charrlotte Roberts in 1995, his parents Andrew and Anna (nee Garbacz) Roy and a brother John Roy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
