William C. Dulio, 88, Owned/Operated Crystal Clear Dry Cleaners
William C. Dulio, 88 years of age of Lorain, died Monday, September 16, 2002 at his home.He was born December 10, 1913 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Mr. Dulio was the owner/operator of Crystal Clear Dry Cleaners in Lorain for 18 years until his retirement in 1986. Prior to that he worked at American Shipbuilding in Lorain.
He was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain, life member of Elks Lodge #1301 in Lorain and honorary life member of the Knights of Columbus.
Mr. Dulio was a member of his brother's band, the Jimmy Dulio Orchestra, and played the saxophone and clarinet.
He was an avid golfer and past member of Elyria Country Club. He had five hole-in-one's; the most recent of which was last year at the age of 87.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years Sadie (nee Cicco), daughter Kathleen Solet of Chesterfield, Missouri and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Antoinette (nee Campana) Dulio, brothers James Dulio and Thomas Dulio and sister's Molly DeNicola, Lucy Gerace, Helen Cicco and Mary Coursey.
Friends may call Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain where funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3501 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. The Rev. Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor, will officiate. Entombment will follow in the Resurrection Crypt of Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
