Sylvia M. Terflinger, 71, Office Associate

Born October 24, 1930 in Lorain, she had resided in Elyria for the past 10 months.

She was an Office Associate for Lucas Plumbing in Lorain for 20 years.

Formerly a member of Christian Temple Disciples of Christ Church in Lorain and belonged to Beta Sigma Phi Sonority Club. She played tennis for 40 years and enjoyed roller skating.

Survivors include her son, Jeffery A. Terflinger of Lorain and nephew of Paul Terflinger of Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard G. Terflinger in 1974, parents, Joseph and Kathryn Spalter and sister Kathleen Donanas in 2000.

Friends may call Thursday, September 19th from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. at Reichlin-Cooley Funeral Home,. 2920 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. The Rev. Bradley J. Donahue will officiate. Burial will follow at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
