Katherine Horning, 92, Lifelong Lorain Resident
Katherine Horning (nee Lehman), 92, of Lorain, died Friday, September 13, 2002 at the Anchor Lodge Retirement Village in Lorain.She was born June 5, 1910 and was a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Mrs. Horning worked at Neisner's, Richmond Brothers and Good All in Lorain.
She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Lorain.
She is survived by her son Clark Horning of Sheffield lake; granddaughter Deborah Fossie of Lorain; two great grandsons; James & Joshua Fossie of Lorain and sister Ernistine Lehman of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1990, sister Marie Linden, Elizabeth Franks, Christine Agnew, Pauline Schwartz, Lillian Metzger and Bertha Lehman, brothers, Fred Lehman, Herman Lehman and Arthur Lehman and parents Frederick and Katherine (nee Ehrlich) Lehman.
Private family services were held Tuesday at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain. Burial was in Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
