Dorothy Louise Williams, 76, Sales Associate
Dorothy Louise Williams, (nee McMillan), age 76, of Lorain, died Sunday, September 8, 2002 at Anchor Lodge Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Williams was born July 5, 1926 in Lorain and had been a life-long resident of the city.She was a graduate of Lorain High School and was formerly employed as a sales associate at Kline's Department Store (Lorain).
She was a member of Emmanuel Evangelical Methodist Church in Lorain as well as Queen City Chapter #66 of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years: Robert, a son: Craig Williams residing in Selinsgrove, PA, and a daughter: Dawnn Barbour of Lorain.
She was preceded in death by her son: Robert W. Williams, and by her parents: Isaac and Anna (nee Jones) McMillan.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 11, 2002 from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway Avenue, Lorain. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Darlene Robinson, pastor of Faith United Methodist Church and Emmanuel United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
