Mary C. Brady, 90, Enjoyed playing cards

Mary C. Brady (nee Snahnichan), 90, of Westlake passed away Friday August 23, 2002 at Harborside Health Care, Westlake following a short illness (complications from Congestive Heart Failure). She was born July 3, 1912 in Lakewood and moved to Bay Village in 1962 before moving to Westlake in 1976. Mary was a homemaker and a member of St. Raphael Catholic Church, Bay Village where she was a lay-minister and volunteered. She enjoyed playing cards.

Mrs. Brady is survived by her three sons, Timothy of Houston, Texas; Terrence (Barbara) of Vermilion and Ted (Jennifer) of Westlake; a daughter, Marilyn Alberts (Robert) of Reading, Pennsylvania; fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vincent J. (1983); a grandchild, Christopher Alberts; a sister, Ann Jacobsen and a brother, Ed Snahnigan and her parents, John and Anna (nee Zec) Snahnichan.

Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISTER FAMILY CHAPEL, 32000 Detroit Rd. Avon from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Prayer Service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday, August 27 at 9:45 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Raphael Catholic Church, 525 Dover Center Rd. Bay Village at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Timothy Gareau will officiate. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Brook Park.
