Irene P. Kacsandi, 86, Enjoyed collecting pictures and newspaper clippings

A life long resident of Lorain, Irene was born on December 1, 1915 in Lorain. She graduated from Lorain High School in 1933, and had worked as a waitress many years ago.

She was a member of Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ, Lorain. She enjoyed collecting pictures and newspaper clippings, and playing pinochle.

Surviving are her sons, David, of San Diego, CA, Bruce, of Lorain, daughters, Delores Buga, of Wabash, IN, and Pamela Cardwell, of Lorain, 5 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John, in 1994, brothers Julius Koleszar, and William Koleszar, parents, Martin Koleszar and Julianna (nee Beke) Koleszar.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 24, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 11:00 a.m. in the Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain. Rev. Zoltan Kelemen, interim pastor of Hungarian Reformed United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp.
