Clarence R. Null, 84, Truck Driver

Clarence R. Null, 84 of Avon, passed away at his home following a sudden illness. Mr. Null was born July 19, 1918 in Cleveland and had lived in Avon for 48 years.

Mr. Null worked as a truck driver for National Beverage, Cleveland retiring in 1983 after 16 years. He was a WWII army veteran, serving in North Africa and Europe.

Mr. Null was a 1936 graduate of John Marshall High School, Cleveland. He was a life member and past commander of VFW Post 7035, Avon, member of Lorain County District #9 VFW Department of Ohio, a life member of Military order of the Cootie, Pub Tent #45. He was also a member of Teamsters Local 293, retired.

Mr. Null is survived by a brother Alton Null of Olmsted Township, 10 nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife, Jane (nee Olson), parents, Frank and Helen (nee Kersten) Null and a brother Myron.

Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 32000 Detroit Road, Avon on Wednesday, August 21st from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Funeral service will be Wednesday, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Rev. John Butcko of the Avon Untied Methodist will officiate. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Garden Avon.
