Claude C. Everett, 86, Enjoyed Gardening
Claude C. Everett, 86 of Lorain, formerly of Portsmouth, OH, passed away, Friday, August 16, 2002 at Good Samaritan Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. Mr. Everett was born, October 10, 1915 in Portsmouth and came to Lorain in the mid 1950s. He was a 5th grade teacher at Larkmoore School, Lorain for over 30 years, retiring in 1980.Mr. Everett served as the president of the Lorain County Chapter of A.A.R.P. He was a member of the 1st Lutheran Church, Lorain and attended Bay Village Baptist Church. He also enjoyed gardening.
His wife of 41 years, Alberta (nee Beebe) passed away in 1983. He is survived by a son Terry L. Everett of Lorain. Besides his wife, he is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence Grady and Margurite Everett and a brother Paul.
Friends may call at the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, 163 Avon-Belden Rd. Avon Lake, Monday, August 19 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. All services will be at the funeral home, Tuesday, at 11:00 p.m. Rev. Billy Barbo of the Bay Village Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
