Edna Mae Sanders, 81, enjoyed quilting and bowling

Born October 12, 1920 in Vermilion, Ohio, she lived in Vermilion most of her life. She had also lived in California and Canton the last 5 years.
She graduated from Vermilion High School and had been a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational, Vermilion. She enjoyed quilting and bowling.
She is survived by a brother, Donald Hoffman of Seneca, South Carolina and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarmon "Sandy" Sanders, January 14, 1996; a brother Harold Hoffman; 2 sisters, Gladys Gerber and Bess Bartlome and her parents, August and Corrine (nee Keaney) Hoffman.
Friends may call Thursday from 7-9 and from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. The Reverend Louis Bertoni, former pastor of the United Church of Christ, will officiate. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
