David B. Rush, 37, Enjoyed hunting, hiking, sailing and outdoor activities

Born October 9, 1964 at Brize-Norton Air Force Base, Oxfordshire, England, he has lived in Lorain for the past 34 years.

He graduated from Admiral King High School in 1983.

David was a self-employed carpenter for 15 years.

He was a member of Broadway Assembly Church and enjoyed hunting, hiking, sailing, and all outdoor activities.

He is survived by his wife Kathy (nee Moore), 3 sons, David, Andrew, Samuel, all of Lorain, 3 daughters, Sumer Rush, Briana Rush, Sierra Rush, all of Lorain. Other survivors include 1 step-daughter, Danielle Moore of Lorain, parents Larry and Carol (nee Samples Rush) of Lorain, brother, Aaron of Oak Harbor Navel Base, WA, and sister, Sherry Shuecraft of Fouke, AK.

Graveside services will be held at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Twp. on Wednesday, August 14 at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Mark Lantz of Broadway Assembly Church will officiate. The Dovin Funeral Home, 2701 Elyria Ave., Lorain is handling the arrangements.
