Mary Delores Yelensky, 41, enjoyed writing poetry and calligraphy

Mary Delores Yelensky (nee Moore), 41 years of age, and a resident of Elyria, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2002 at University Hospital, Cleveland, following a sudden illness.

She was born November 8, 1960 in Elyria where she was raised. She had lived in Lorain for 14 years before moving back to Elyria.

Mary was a housewife and mother. She enjoyed writing poetry and calligraphy.

Survivors include her sons, Joshua Yelensky and Anthony Yelensky both at home, her mother Lucy Moore (nee Flannery) of Elyria; her brothers, Richard Moore of Greenwood, FL., Robert Moore of Titusville, FL., and Donald Moore of Bradenton, FL; her sisters, Etta Shaver of Elyria, Deborah Pynkel of Fort Meyers, FL., and Sandy Moore of Holidays, FL.

Her father, Edward Moore, preceded her in death in 1973.

Friends may call both Saturday and Sunday from 2-7 p.m. at the Hemple Funeral Home; 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst where funeral services will be held, Monday at 10:00 a.m. Rev. Jack Ison, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, Lorain will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lorain.
