Kimberly Kay Godles, 38, Lifelong Lorain Resident

Kimberly Kay Godles, 38, of Lorain, died Tuesday August 6, 2002 at the home of her mother after a lengthy illness.

She was born June 19, 1964 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.

She was a graduate of Admiral King High School in Lorain.

Mrs. Godles worked in housekeeping at Autumn Aegis Nursing Home in Lorain and tended bar at Russo-Slav and Capel's, both in Lorain.

She is survived by her sons Jeffrey Godles, Ryan Godles and Brice Godles, all of Lorain. Daughter Megan Vasich of Lorain, Mother and Stepfather Gillis and Carol Hensley (nee O'Neal) of Lorain. Father Frank Meo of Georgia; sisters Kelly Sines and Christina Williams, both of Bremen, Georgia, Tammy Kidd of Wakeman and Carrie Lopez of Elyria; brothers Frank Meo and Anthony Meo, both of Lorain and Gillis Hensley of Springfield, Ohio and Maternal grandfather Bacil O'Neal of Lorain. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Margaret O'Neal (nee Lilly) and paternal grandparents Victor and Mary Grasso.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel, 3224 Broadway, Lorain where funeral services will be held Friday at 1:00 p.m. The Rev. Kenneth Wolnowski, pastor of the Catholic Church of St. Peter in Lorain, will officiate. Burial will follow Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst Township.
