Charles J. Durgan, 49, Avid motorcyclist and enjoyed camping

Charles J. Durgan, 49 of Lorain died on Monday, August 5, 2002 in Loudonville, OH as a result of injuries sustained in a one-car auto accident.

Mr. Durgan was born on January 26, 1953 in MI and was an assembler at the Ford Motor Plant-Lorain. He was an avid motorcyclist and enjoyed camping.

He is survived by his wife Connie (nee Hellinger) Durgan, his daughter, Stacy Sowell, his son, Charles J. Durgan, both of Dade City, FL, 6 grandchildren, his mother Juanita (nee Elwell) Durgan of Marion, MI. Other include his sisters Patricia Brown, Brenda Durgan, Bonnie Morris all of Flint, MI, Kathy McBride of TN, his brother Michael Durgan, Ronnie Durgan both of Flint, MI.

Mr. Durgan is preceded in death by his father Charles Durgan.

Friends may call at Christan Temple-Disciples of Christ Church, 940 W. 5th Street, Lorain, OH 44052 on Saturday, August 10, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at the church with Rev. Bradley J. Donahue, pastor as officiant.

Burial will be at the Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township, OH.
