Imry Madarasi, 85, Machine Operator

Imry "Emery" A. Madarasi, 85 of Avon, formerly of Lorain passed away, Friday August 2, 2002 at Elyria Memorial Hospital, following a brief illness.

Mr. Madarasi was born, November 5, 1916 in Bolcske Hungary, came to the United States in 1953 settling in Lorain and has lived in Avon for the past 40 years.

Mr. Madarasi was a machine operator with Standard Pipe Protection Corporation, Lorain for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of Holy Trinity Church, Avon and enjoyed gardening and cooking.

His wife Wilma B. Tobas, whom he married, April 10, 1927, in Munich Germany, passed away, June 27, 1991. He is survived by a daughter, Karin Jason-DeRuchie of Elyria; grandsons, Timothy DeRuchie of Amherst and Toby DeRuchie, Elyria and two great grandchildren, Kristina and Bryan. Besides his wife, Mr. Madarasi is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Julia (nee Szobo) Madarasi.

Mass of Christian Burial will be in Holy Trinity Church, 33601 Detroit Road, Avon, Tuesday, August 6th at 10:00 a.m. Fr. John Misenko of the Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Jaycox Road, Avon. Arrangements are by the Busch-Burmeister Family Chapel, Avon. (44) 933-3202
