Rose Marie Bennett, 85, Lifelong Lorain Resident
Rose Marie Bennett (nee Catalano), 85, of Lorain, died Thursday July 25, 2002 at Avon Oaks Nursing Home in Avon after a lengthy illness.She was born July 18, 1917 in Lorain and had been a lifelong Lorain area resident.
Mrs. Bennett enjoyed dancing and playing the piano.
She is survived by her daughters Karen Tillack (nee Breckenridge) of Lorain and Dovie Bennett of Lorain; son Dale Bennett of Auburn, Indiana; 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband Theodore Breckenridge in 1949, second husband Roy Bennett in 1973, son Ronald Breckenridge in 1990, parents Angelo and Providenza (nee Battaglia) Catalano, brothers Frank Catalano and Joseph Catalano and sister Lillian Jacoby.
Private family graveside services were held Saturday at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst Township.
