Carol Danner, 63, enjoyed bowling and ceramics

Carol Danner (nee Davidson) (Formerly Carol Rush), 63 of Avon Lake, passed away, Wednesday, July 24, at the New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, following complications of a stroke. Mrs. Danner was born, August 16, 1938 in Elyria, and has lived in Avon Lake for the past 35 years.

Mrs. Danner was self-employed in the pizza business and continued to work until her illness. She was a graduate of Elyria High School and enjoyed bowling and ceramics. She was also a collector of many things.

She is survived by her husband, Paul, whom she married, July 2, 1975. Other survivors include, 3 sons, Don Rush of Elyria, Chris Rush of Columbus and Scott Rush of Lorain; 3 daughters, Kim Thompson of Anchorage, Alaska, Kelly Frisky of Sheffield Lake, and Saundra Hall of Avon Lake; 13 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a brother Bryant Davidson of Philadelphia. She is preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Dorothy Davidson.

Friends may call at the BUSCH-BURMEISET FAMILY CHAPEL, 163 Avon-Belden Rd., Avon Lake, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, July 27. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home, Saturday at 8:00p.m. Interment will be private in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
